Hovering over Shanghai one of the 40 views of Yuanmingyuan from an imperial scroll painting with the emperor’s poetry has been retranslated into a floating landscape. Yuanmingyuan is also British translated as Garden of Perfect Brightness and otherwise known as the Old Summer Palace. A palace and grounds as large as Central Park in NYC that was burnt and looted by France and England in what was known as the 2nd Opium war.
