The Conqueror series of sculptures is structurally based on a fictional totem. A pseudo anthropological form from which the extrapolated symbols are based on the bull being a reference to the bull market; the rising stock market. Mythically the stock market is called the bull and bear market for the way they attack correlating to the movements of buying and selling in the volatility of human fear and greed. The series of 4 sculptures is colour coded according to the four horsemen of the apocalypse; white for conquest, red for war, black for pestilence and pale green for death. Rather than horses I have used bulls as not only sacrificial animals but also in reference to bull riders.
