Macmillan De'Longhi Art Auction
for Macmillan Cancer
Support
29 Sept 2009
For the past two years Macmillan and De'Longhi
have joined forces to host the hugely successful Macmillan
De’Longhi Art Auction raising a phenomenal £300,000
for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The 2009 event will mark the third year of the auction, and
it is once again set to be one of Macmillan’s most successful
special events, as well as a hotly anticipated date on London's
social calendar.
Held at The Avenue on St James's, the aim of the auction is
to raise crucial funds and awareness of Macmillan as a source
of support for change. This year there are a number of outstanding
pieces up for auction including works from Gavin Turk, Sir
Peter Blake, Mary McCartney, Sacha Jafri, Alison Jackson,
Maggi Hambling and Sam Taylor-Wood.
